The tables below are the sailing schedule Jadrolinija published for 2026, with the departures from both ports side by side. The roman numerals are Jadrolinija’s own rotation numbers, so row VII is the same round trip in either column.

Two seasons, not one

The year splits into a high season from 3 July to 30 September and a low season covering 1 January to 2 July and 1 October to 31 December.

Note that the low season is two separate stretches rather than one winter block. A schedule that shows a single off-season period puts you on the wrong footing in early July, which is exactly when the road to Cres fills up.

The gaps are uneven

Between 05:45 and 18:15 a ferry leaves Valbiska roughly every 90 min, with one longer gap in the middle of the morning. After 18:15 the intervals stretch, and in low season the evening thins out further.

That matters more than the total count. Missing the 15:15 in high season costs you 90 min; missing the 21:15 costs you rather more.

Dates when a sailing does not run

Three of the low season rotations are suspended on specific dates, marked in the table above. The early morning pair also stops on Sundays and public holidays through the winter months, which catches out travellers who assume a state line runs every day.
