Why this site exists
The crossing between Krk and Cres is the busiest car ferry route in Croatia. A place on a sailing cannot be reserved, which means the departure times only become useful once you know when to be in the queue.
Alongside the timetable and the fares, this site therefore carries a calculation: which sailing you make from a given arrival time, and whether the swing bridge at Osor is open by then.
Where the information comes from
The timetable and the fares are taken from the documents Jadrolinija publishes for 2026, not from other websites. Those documents are linked as sources on each page.
The timetable has also been checked against Jadrolinija’s own ticket sales, which lists the same departures. The bridge opening times come from the port authority for Mali Lošinj rather than from travel guides.
Where a figure comes from a less authoritative source, such as advice on how early to arrive in summer, the page says so and presents it as guidance rather than fact.
How it is written
Each language edition is written separately rather than translated, because the question “how do I get there” has a different answer in each country.
We do not invent authors or expertise. This site is published by a company, the pages are written from documented sources, and the sources are named so you can check them.
